Thales Cryogenics extremely well visited at SPIE 2011 |
|
Thales Cryogenics, together with Thales Nederland
Optronics, have welcomed an overwhelming number of interested visitors on their combined booth at SPIE 2011. The two papers we presented during the conference are now available on our download page.
Besides our new mini linear coolers, we also introduced and demonstrated the ground breaking Cooler Diagnostic Software, which will monitor performance of linear coolers installed in cameras and predict the remaining operational lifetime, thus contributing to a significant cost reduction in life cycle of the system : Affordable health-CARE for cryogenic coolers!
This software concept was also presented in the Claire and in the new Seagull MW TI camera family, both containing linear cooler technology.
On camera level this:
generates maximum uptime
reduces life cycle cost
predicts maintenance intervals
From our complete range of Rotary Coolers, the RM1 was presented, which is used in the Sophie camera.
More technology background was presented in Session 15: Cryocoolers for IR Focal Plane Arrays:
Also a demo of the Cooler Diagnostic Software was given on the Exhibitor Product Demonstration on Wednesday, 27 April.
We thank you for visiting our booth during the exhibition and bear in mind;
